Oh my goodness...what gorgeous, gorgeous photos!!! I'm jealous--both because I wish spring was that firmly ensconced here (we had snow flurries yesterday, though today is beautiful) and because I wish I could take such lovely photos!

They're all lovely but my favourite is the blossom tree in the first. An almond bush? I think that's what we call a cherry tree.

hey Cath: hmmm, i didn't take a pic of the weeping cherry tree I should have but was having a rough time knowing how Jim and Dave loved spring and their yard coming alive...:o( but yeah, that's an almond bush. (nothing to do with the nuts though)

What beautiful flowers! I'm very impressed. We have green here but not those kind of flowers.

(First off, you're a love. It bears repeating. Secondly,) those are absolutley gorgeous pictures. The composition is absolutely wonderful. I wish I could take pictures like that... (There're classes, I'm sure, but I'm not convinced they teach you how to have a steady hand which is part of my problem.)

The almonds one is my favourite, though. They're so beautiful to see.

Helen: i love that one too.. it's right outside the kitchen window and it's the one I like the most too.

Tink: i didn't get a pic of the tiny wild violets which are something "I" remember from childhood. Picking the tiny flowers for my mother in open fields.

Kim: anything that blooms is welcome after winter.. evey dandylions! Around here Queen Annes Lace is considered a weed but I always liked it and in other places people plant them.

libritouches: oh my ..well many a time I have to use my camera with they eye piece up against my eye because my hands are not steady enough to take pics just using the lcd in the back of the camera.

*scuffs feet* If memory serves (which it very well might not!) I take even worse pictures without the lcd screen. At least there I can see my hand wobbling from time to time. I fail at most visual things, though, so I've gotten used to it by now. ^-^

hi Pam: i've always loved the zoom lens! can't seem to live without one lol

libritouches: many times I take 3 times the amount of pics just for a few to come out "right".. so don't feel bad

Naomi: glad you like them.. you make me envious the way YOU take pictures!
